Aldo Moroni died on 9/27/2020. He was a terrific guy: bluff, friendly, always generous. Once I went in to buy a couple of his towers for Stephanie Mitchell's garden and he cut the price so much, I had to buy a third one. Minneapolis at large can remember him for his sculpture at the Federal Reserve Bank, historical markers in Southeast and the Cedar Riverside light-rail stop.
