I have several artist friends who are multi-talented but Ayanna Muata's creativity burns with an unquenchable fire. The photo of a badass writer is from a series in the Cindy Sherman vein displayed in her gallery. The self portraits recreate iconic images ranging from a clown in white face to a farm girl to an elegant lady of the Victorian Era. Lately she and her husband, Cam Muata are working on a CD , Battle Weary for release later this year. It's already getting some airplay.
